Cheer and Dance Association

A 501 C(3) non-profit organization who's purpose is to help cheerleaders and dancers offset the costs involved in their programs. Willow Cheer and Dance Associaiton is a parent and athlete booster club, involved with holding fundraisers throughout the year to defer costs such as uniforms, competition fee's, travel, lodging and other equipment. 

Members of any community may become involved with W.I.L.L.O.W Cheer and Dance Association. Our Booster Club offers opportunitites for friends and family to help athlets fundraise for their cheer or dance program!

iconMSU Concessions information

Important things to know for 2009 MSU football concessions:

There needs to be 12 people at every game. Or we risk a fine!
The group will earn a base pay, plus comission. Your pay will be based on an hourly rate of what the group earns.
Any cash or shortages will be deducted from our payment.
We will total up all hours worked by all of our staff and then figure it into an hourly rate.
Each staff member will be paid for the hours worked.
Each family is allowed to have 2 individuals’ sign-ups.
One week before the game, if there are openings any one can fill them. First come, first serve.
If you sign up and do not show up, you must either fill the opening or you will be fined $10
We will not receive payment from MSU until late December or early January.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY ANY AND ALL MONEY DUE TO CAPITAL CHEER WHEN IT IS DUE. DO NOT WAIT FOR PAYMENT FROM MSU
 
Time frame of the day
3 ½ hrs BEFORE game time- Stand manager is to arrive to count inventory and prepare stand.
2 ½ hrs BEFORE game time- Remain staff is to arrive to assist in preparing the stand.
1 ½ hrs BEFORE game time –Gates open to the public, stand opens.
End of the third quarter- All stand close, clean, count inventory, dismiss staff, stand manager must reconcile stand in warehouse. Staff will be dismissed once stand is cleaned and counted.
 
Cleaning stands
Breakdown cardboard in area near door inside stand.
Organize dirty laundry in area near door.
Organize washables in area near door inside plastic lexan.
Sweep stand
If not complete, group will be charged $25
 
Parking
Parking is available free in the lot on the corner of Mt. Hope and Farm Lane.
Passes will be given to you the week of the game.
You will catch the shuttle bus and must show your pass to the bus driver. 
Bus transportation starts early – 5 hours before game.
Bus drop staff near southeast corner of the stadium.
Proceed to check-in on the west side of stadium at gate.
Check in staff will take gate pass and will issue each person a bus pass for return trip.
 
General Policies
Minimum age = 16yrs
Ratio of adults to children will be no less than 1:1
Food consumption is prohibited in stands. All drinks must be consumer out of view and must always have a lid.
Shorts will be allowed for warm games. No short shorts.
No open toed shoes
Uniforms - MSU supplied apron and hat unless organization has common hat to wear. NO opposing or big ten team apparel.
 
The following items are not allowed in Spartan Stadium
Food of any kind
Binoculars/Camera cases
Aerosol and spray cans
Flags and flag poles
Camcorders and tripods
Strollers
Weapons
Football/Toys
Chair/Seat Backs/Seat cushions
Any food or beverage containers including but not limited to cups, mugs, thermoses, and coolers.
Any type of bags or purses larger then 5 ½ x 8 ½ x 2
Umbrellas
Alcoholic beverages
No smoking is allowed
 
In addition to the above the Concession Department also does not allow
Bottled water opened or unopened
TV’s, compact disc players/IPODS, cameras
Open toed shoes, sandals, flip flops, cut off shirts.
Laptops
 
Purses and outerwear are subject to search. All unauthorized items will be confiscated and kept at the concession office. Or the volunteer can return the item to their vehicle. Anyone becoming rude will be instructed to leave by MSU personal.

Please arrive to commuter lots 30 minutes BEFORE arrival time. The commuter bus may  take anywhere from 20-30 mins to drop individuals off at the game. Bus passes/game tickets will be passed out the week of the game.

Saturday October 3rd, 2009 - Arrive @ stadium no later than 9:00 a.m.

Saturday October 17, 2009 - Arrive @ stadium no later than 9:00 a.m. 

Saturday October 24, 2009 - Arrive @ stadium no later than 4:00 p.m. 

Saturday November 7, 2009 - Arrive @ stadium no later than 9:00 a.m.

Saturday November 24, 2009- Arrival Time TBA 

****Sign-up Sheets available at the gym. Limit 2 workers per family, until 1 week prior to event, at which time all spots will be released on a first come first serve basis.
