Tri-County Rec Teams
Tri-County Recreation Teams NEW to the Mid-Michigan Area!

October 2009 will launch a new and exciting venture for elementary and middle school cheerleaders in the Mid-Michigan area! The Tri-County Cheer teams are open to athletes from Lansing, East Lansing, Holt, Okemos, Haslett, Dewitt, Grand Ledge, St. Johns, Potterville, Fowlerville, Williamston and all of the surrounding areas!
The focus of the Try-county cheer teams will be to prep athletes for middle school and high school competitive cheerleading. A total of 6 teams will be offered based on age and skill level. Although at a recreation level, these teams of cheerleaders will compete and exhibition at local competitions and other events!
The Try-County Cheer teams are in need of volunteer coaches for our first season! If you or someone you know may be interested in coaching one of the teams, please contact us!
K-1 Grade - Beginner Cheer
2-3 grades - Novice Cheer
4-5 grades - Intermediate Cheer
6th grade - Junior Prep (Freshmen)
7th grade - Junior (Junior Varsity)
8th grade - Senior cheer ( Varsity)
The Tri-County Cheer Teams will practice at Capital Cheer Training Facility. Practices will run from November-March.

6:00 p.m. Parent Meeting
A Detailed packet of information will be distributed. There will be a parent Q and A session about the season expectations, rules, expenses and fundraising. ALL Athletes are welcome! No Experience is necessary to join the tri-county cheer teams!
The season will run November 4 - March 22, 2010. The tuition is $45 per month, with an additional 15% off for each additional sibling that joins!
- Registration Fee $35
- Uniforms approximately $80
- Season Competition Fee's: TBD @ Parent Meeting
- Cheer Shoes -on own, any white shoe is fine!
- Practice Attire: Black Shorts & Black Sports Tank
Practice and Competition Schedule
The Tri-County rec teams will practice 1 day per week, on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The team will break for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
