Look Where We Can Take You!
The Mini Team in Washington D.C.!
Cure Leaders at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk!
How does it work?
Our cheer teams practice year-round, beginning in the spring with registration and team placement. The competitive season will begin as early as October and end in March or April. Unlike high school and middle school teams, which compete against squads based on their school size and class, cheerleading teams under the USASF allow teams to compete based on their appropriate age and skill level only! This creates a fair playing field for everyone!
The U.S. All Star Federation is the governing body for non-school related cheerleading programs. The USASF regulates the skills that athletes are able to perform at each level.
Our cheer coaches, at Capital Cheer are credentialed by the USASF for skill levels 1-5. We are proud to abide by the guidelines set fourth by the USASF regarding tumbling and stunting.
*Athlete's age is determined as of August 31st, 2009 for the entire school year.
Tiny Team: For athletes ages 3-5 Mini Team: Athletes ages 6-8
Youth Team: Athletes ages 9-11 Junior Team: Athletes ages 12-14

Capital Cheer has a very dedicated and hard working parent booster club, called "Willow Cheer and Dance Assoiation". The booster club is a non-profit 501 c(3) tax exempt organization. With this status, our booster club is able to part take in many season fundraisers such as the Lugnuts, MSU concessions for football, basketball, volley ball and concerts.
Capital Cheer families have the opportunity to fundraise a majority of their season costs with the help of our Booster Club! If you are interested in more information about our fundraising activities, please e-mail us at info@CapitalCheerMichigan.com
